I know absolutely nothing about banjos, but I will checking your blog often to see just how much i can learn. I love bluegrass music though. I also like progressive bluegrass, especially music by Nickel Creek out of Nashville. Have you heard them. I know at least one of my (our) relatives was a famous bluegrass musician -- Homer Israel with the Foggy Mountain Boys.
